things I'm taking with me into this new chapter

There’s something about standing on the edge of a new chapter that makes you want to look back.

Not necessarily to rewrite anything, but to take inventory.

What did I learn?
What changed me?
What am I ready to leave behind?
And, perhaps most importantly, what do I want to carry with me?

As I get ready to turn the page, I’ve been thinking a lot about the things I want to take with me into this next chapter.

Not everything deserves a place in the next version of my life.

But some things absolutely do.

love letter to my twenties

Dear Twenties,

We haven't known each other for very long, but somehow you've already changed me in ways I never expected.

When I was younger, I thought my twenties would look polished. I imagined having a dream job, a beautiful apartment, a packed passport, and enough confidence to never second guess myself. Instead, you greeted me with uncertainty, unanswered prayers, wrong turns, and more "I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing" moments than I could count.

And strangely enough...

Thank you.

my life isn't a pinterest board... yet

Welcome, friends, to my weekly diary dump!

Here at Sleepless on Sunday, we’re on a journey of personal growth, self-discovery, and becoming the person we were always meant to be. I’m currently navigating a season of life where things need to change, but what better place to start than the beginning of my 20s?

As I approach my 21st birthday, I find myself looking forward with excitement, curiosity, and a little bit of uncertainty. I have always been someone who yearns to jump ahead to the next big thing - the next milestone, the next adventure, the next version of myself; but sometimes that leaves me feeling lost in the in-between.

The in-between is where we spend so much of our lives. It’s the space between who we were and who we’re becoming. It’s messy, confusing, beautiful, and full of lessons we don’t always recognize in the moment.

Here at Sleepless on Sunday, I want to celebrate the beauty of growing in the in-between and learning to embrace the process instead of constantly chasing the destination. This is a place for honest conversations, little life lessons, dreams, doubts, and everything that happens while figuring it all out.

So grab your coffee, stay awhile, and welcome to my little corner of the internet; a place where we can grow together, one Sunday night thought at a time.
